Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
At ApxPOS, accessible from apxpos.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by ApxPOS and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways to provide a reliable POS service:
- Account Registration Details: Email address, password hash, business name, and admin contact details.
- Tenant Database Content: Inventory records, supplier information, customer lists, and store sale logs. This data is strictly isolated inside your database schema (`tenant_[slug]`).
- Billing Information: Transaction references, transaction IDs, and sender account numbers submitted for manual verification. We do not store or capture raw credit card numbers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Operate, manage, and verify subscriptions for the ApxPOS platform.
- Provide isolated database storage so that your sales, billing, and stock data are private to your business.
- Analyze platform performance, fix server bugs, and optimize search algorithms.
3. Data Security and Isolation
Your store's sales and customer data are structurally separated. By using PostgreSQL schema-level isolation, your transactions are only readable by users authorized under your tenant context. We use industry-standard encryption practices to protect account passwords and data transmission over SSL/TLS.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your inventory, transaction logs, or customer information to third parties. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the active POS terminal screen.
5. Updates to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
